To make it easier, a study conducted by the ABCD agency was completed in July this year. Based on the scored data of the nations, the overall rank for the countries with the luckiest people was determined.

The countries mentioned below scored the best in terms of opportunities in career and education, general life satisfaction, healthcare privileges and overall freedom of opinion.

1. Switzerland is a land of opportunities with a total score of 100

2. Iceland offers good health facilities and employment opportunities and has an overall score of 91.49.

3. Norway is ranked among the top 3 luckiest countries; its score is 89.39 with 100 in the life satisfaction and career opportunities indexes.

4. Luxembourg – life in Luxembourg is good, with an 89 points overall ranking with a 90+ score in the life satisfaction index and career opportunities.

5. Denmark came in fifth place with an overall score of 84.91 points out of 100.

6. Finland has a high life satisfaction index with a shallow financial index and an average of 80.52.

7. Australia is considered as a nation for the luckiest people with an 80.50 score and good safety and health facilities.

8. Sweden also offers high-end medical services and education facilities and has an average of 80.22.

9. Austria with an overall score of 78 points is successful in all sectors and has a good safety and health index of 91.83.

10. The Netherlands is low on financial standing but scores well in freedom and democratic rights of citizens.

11. New Zealand is home to some of the luckiest people in the world offering high-end medical facilities for one and all.

12. Ireland has a 76 overall score with good career opportunities and a good health index.

13. Belgium has lower financial independence but scores high in terms of health and liberties.

14. Canada: is a land full of job opportunities and a better standard of living. It scored 75.61 overall.

15. France scores below 60 for the career opportunities index yet performs very on the health and safety index with a score of 98.64.

18. The United States, with an overall score of 62, has a low life satisfaction score of 44 points.
