Tüyap brings its 35th Plast Eurasia to Istanbul this December. Plastics machinery, raw materials and production technologies will sit together beneath a single roof, and organisers are stepping up efforts to pull in trade buyers from leading European markets ahead of opening.

İstanbul – Plast Eurasia takes place from 2-5 December 2026 at the Tüyap Fair and Congress Center, Istanbul, organised by Tüyap Fairs and Exhibitions Organization Inc. in partnership with PAGEV and with the backing of the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Trade. Buyers, distributors, producers of raw materials, technology suppliers and manufacturers will gather to build trading ties right across the plastics sector.

“For 35 years, Plast Eurasia supports the growth and development of the industry by bringing companies and professionals together and helping turn those connections into commercial relationships,” according to İlhan Ersözlü, General Manager at Tüyap Fairs Production Inc. “This year, we want to carry that experience forward by creating focused opportunities for buyers, suppliers and technology companies to meet around the needs of today’s plastics industry.”

Outreach to European visitors steps up

Some 3 months ahead of opening, 90% of the exhibition space is already booked. Visitor numbers of 80,000 are anticipated from Türkiye and beyond, while trade visitor outreach is focused on Poland, Italy, France, Romania, Greece, Belgium and Germany, plus Middle East and North Africa markets.

European sector professionals will find machinery suppliers, materials companies and further plastics firms assembled in a single Istanbul showground in December. The fair’s international visitor programme sets out to spark new business contacts and to help companies deepen the trading ties they hold already.

Machinery, materials and production technology dominate the agenda

The event rests on two main pillars: machinery for plastic production, and raw materials and chemicals. Machinery solutions and next-generation manufacturing technologies also feature, with the business agenda built around topics like innovation, efficiency and value-added production.

Such breadth of products means buyers and engineers can review machines, materials and manufacturing methods in one trip, whereas exhibitors show their industry solutions, technologies and latest products to a global audience.

The anniversary programme retraces 35 years of change

Part of the 35th-anniversary programme, a Milestones Map will lay out in date order the key chapters of the fair’s past together with the plastics industry’s own progress. A display of vintage plastics manufacturing machines will equally show how production technologies have shifted across the decades.

At the opening ceremony, plaques go to Kontel Elektronik, Enformak Plastik Teknolojileri and Almak Ateş Makine, firms that have exhibited throughout all 35 years of the event, acknowledging their long-standing loyalty.

The Stage is Yours! gives exhibitors 30-minute speaking slots in which to present success stories, sector solutions, technologies and value-added products to the visiting audience.

Guided access awaits hosted buyers

The Hosted Buyer Guided Tour programme helps overseas buying delegations reach the exhibitors and product categories that matter to them with less wasted time. Participating buyers receive planned routes, stops at demonstration and event zones, access to the Hosted Buyer Lounge and dedicated support services.

Turkish Airlines, as Official Airline of Plast Eurasia, is discounting eligible international round-trip fares into Istanbul for travel from 25 November to 12 December 2026: 10% off in Economy Class and 15% in Business Class.
